Na 21 jaar in Leiden strijkt de Picking Party nu neer in Haastrecht. In samenwerking met Country Café Concordia spelen zondag 28 februari negen akoestische bands in de theaterzaal van Concordia.
De country-bands die optreden zijn Whiskey Rose, Utrecht Central Station, Change of Key, Gentle Blue, Babes in the Grass, Bont & Bluegrass, Johannes Bodingius, Clover Bluegrass Boys en Stringtime. Change of Key is ook te vinden op hun ‘eigen’ podium in het Grand Café. Ditmaal met gastspeler
Harm van Sleen op pedalsteel gitaar. Daarnaast bestaat er de mogelijkheid om op een aantal aangewezen plaatsen in het gebouw te jammen. Concordia opent haar deuren om 12.00 uur en vanaf 13.00 uur begint de muziek. De Finale/Afsluiting van het programma is rond de klok van 20.00 uur. De toegang is gratis.
